Crime in Roanoke City has skyrocketed over the last four years. According to the most recent data, our crime rate is considerably higher than the national average. This is unacceptable and completely because of the failed policies of the current Roanoke City Council. I know that Roanoke deserves better. We can and must get crime under control and that begins by ensuring that our law enforcement officers have the tools and resources that they need. I will work tirelessly to ensure that you and your family are safe in Roanoke again.
